JOIN THE FIGHT FOR RACIAL JUSTICE IN CANNABIS
The history of the cannabis industry is undeniably racist. Marijuana prohibition has long been used to criminalize Black and Latinx Americans, who are still four times more likely to be arrested for marijuana charges than their white counterparts. Meanwhile, those currently benefiting financially and professionally from cannabis legalization are overwhelmingly white. It’s time to confront this inexcusable contradiction within our industry – and change it. The fight for racial justice in cannabis will be a long and complicated one, but we hope this website can provide a few resources to help with you or your company’s journey toward anti-racism.
